The notion of adding some form of lighting to sculpture is not necessarily a new one but the aim with our new Snowman Illumination was to present a piece that once illuminated there becomes another dimension to it, adding to the imagery and story within. Yet when not lit retains the very same style of finish as the rest of the Edge Sculpture portfolio. So, by no means a lamp but instead using a light source to subtlety embellish a piece further.

Snowman Illumination in Red is a Limited Edition of only 150 pieces and will be signed by the sculptor Matt Buckley, individually numbered and accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

Each Snowman sculpture comes in a sturdy reusable box that can be safely stored

and put away until next Christmas!

As an added safety feature the arms of every Snowman are made from tough metal, a solid English Pewter supplied by A.E. Williams who have been crafting pewter since 1779.

Each Snowman Illumination is lit by a 2W LED Day-White low-profile puck light included.

Available with a 3 Pin UK plug (UKCA/CE certificated) or 2 Pin European plug (CE certificated).

With a black 2m length of cable and rocker switch.

To be used only with the LED light provided. Do not use tea lights or any flame or heat emitting lighting.

Designed and sculpted in England by Matt Buckley at his studios in Shropshire, Edge Sculpture is a collection influenced by style rather than subject.  The mix of form, light and texture gives a unique feel to each individual piece.

Each subject has been originally sculpted from clay, which allows the creation of pieces that deliver both a dynamic and organic feel.  We then develop both the cases and moulds which ensure the faithful reproduction of the original clay sculpture with our special blend of marble stone castings.

The finishing touch is the skilful application of hand-painting with the end result being a statement piece and talking point for anyone's home!
